Ok so I just bought a 03 v6 with a 3.1? right with 18,000 miles on it for 9500 can someone go in detail about the whole inlet gasket and what years it affects, cost, and what to look for?

 

i've been having quite a bit of trouble with my 06 maxx. saftey concerns are my bigest issue with this car. tc lights kept coming on, steering wheel would lock up. had it fixed and the dealership said it was the alternator. about a month later, this past monday, my airbag light comes on, and stays on. another trip to the dealership. the sad thing about this whole ordeal is that i wanted somthing safe for my family. i loved everything about this little car. the interior, the heated seats, sunroof, moon roofs in the back for my little boy. gm needs to address these concerns and consider a recall on some models. sounds like the 04 and 06 models from what i've read so far.
we're trading it in once the warranty expires.
