I have a '93 G20 and I'm trying to get a little more lift on it. I have scoured the main lift kit manufacturers and have found no "kit" specific to my van. Anyone else done this? What did you do? Can i just add a leaf and block to the rear? Suggestions on the front...?

Would like to get at least 3 inches. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

 

You can use a Hellwig Add-A-Leaf kit. I installed them onto my existing rear leaf springs. So far they work well, mush higher in the back. Just be careful, because you might get a little sway on the highway if you lift high enough. Im contemplating installing a Hellwig sway bar kit in the rear to help with that. I installed a Hellwig sway bar on the front, works nicely. My van is a 95 Chevy g20, the kits are pretty universal

I used a Firestone air bag kit in the rear and I can get a good 3" same with the coilrite bags up front. But one of the bags up front already has a leak somewhere. If you want suspension stuff, the mid and late 80's trucks have the same suspension and motors (Tbi trucks) that's how I found the kit.

Since the front bags already crapped out I've been looking at a set of bags that replace the coil spring, but they say it will give me stock and lower height. I'm sure a couple of 2" spacers would fix that.

Here's the old beast. 463,916 miles and rolling good. Built 350 with Doug Thorley tri-y headers and a built 4l60e. A little rust but it's a work/DD van.
