Default Starting Problems

1995 S-10 Blazer, when I try to start it, it sounds like the battery is weak, just barely turns over, but if you stay with it, it will eventually start. Replaced the battery, replaced starter with one from wreckin yard, same results. I'm wonderin if its not in the timin, looked in the Chiltons book and it says theres a tan wire with a black stripe that has to be disconnected before settin the timin, I've looked high and low for this wire and can't find it anywhere. Do they all have this wire? If so exactly where is it? I also have been told you can't set the timin on some models, if thats the case reckon whats wrong with my startin system?

Okey doke, never mind, it was my dumb butt fault all along, changed cap and rotor a while back and didn't get the rotor pushed all the way down, kinda buggered up the rotor and cap, had the old cap and rotor put them back on started just fine
