Thnx for spending time on this topic with me. Where in the cab should I look? What should I be looking for? I have pulled back the carpet as much as I can so I can clean the water up. There is a lack of anti-freeze smell so hopefully my prob is getting narrowed down. I have a Chilton on the way.

I'd look for the tell tale marks of water on any of the plastic housing..

look to see if its coming from the firewall or from the area under the dash..

lay newspaper up under the area so you can more readily see when and maybe where its getting wet ( driving defrost on, driving its raining outside...)

Try flushing the windshield and cowling area with the hose and see if it is water coming in that way.

Will check all that. Could it be possible that the windshield seal is leaking?

absolutely thou that is rare unless you have ever had the glass replaced.
they put a pretty good seal of "caulk" under the glass at the factory...
I am more inclined to suspect the AC is dripping or water is getting in through the blower housing....

if you put the paper down )and secure it so the blower doesn't blow it away, also be mindful not to block the recirculate air intake) hopefully as soon as it starts dripping you will hear it hit the paper, foil may also produce a distinctive sound...

The most common cause for water in the cab on any cause is debris in the cowl drain. This lets water into the air box (heater/ac box)for the fresh air intake which then soaks the floor.Take a hose and lay it on the base of the windshield, then watch for water dripping inside.

passenger side cowel drain runs out on to wire harness and i found water comming out harness on floor,can see it under antenna in well. 2015 silverado,
