Alright so i currently have a k and n cold air intake and flowmaster exhaust. I purchased a Hypertech Max power programmer and am waiting for it in the mail, but I don't know what the next place to start would be. I have a 5.3 V8 and its a 2008 Silverado. Let me know your thoughts, I have considered a throttle body spacer but I don't know if that will do anything.

ive heard that it doesnt do much for the motor. im just spitballing but could upgrade your cams.

Headers and a mild cam would really unleash some power but may require custom computer tuning

Headers and Lighter Pulleys, I didnt really see much with the throttle body spacer myself.

ive heard that long tube headers are better then the shorties. so keep that in mind.

the longtubes give a much wider spectrum in regards to the torque output. through the rpm range. whereas the shortys give a much closer torque range in your rpms. but with long tubes you wont use the factory y-pipe. youll have to find a spot for it somewhere between the pipes and cats. with the shortys youll use the factory y-pipe.
