have a 2008 silverado and a few days ago the brake lights stay on when the truck is on. have replaced brake switch, checked wiring harness junction box, unplugged wiring from brake light switch, and brown plug from bcm module, they went out when i pulled fuse, and when i unplugged from bcm module. any ideas? thanks much

 

I saw a similar issue here https://answers.yahoo.com/question/i...4062906AAYxkiP The owner's brake lights are stuck on as well. In his case the dealer traced it to a faulty junction box. They replaced it and it solved the issue.

 

Switched junction box out with another one. Still having same issue.

 

just had booster go out. Replaced and now have the light issue. Changed switch on pedal, and tested unplugged, stays on. Haven’t tried the brain yet, did you figure out your issue and what was it?

 

I have the same issue with my 09 Tahoe. I replaced the Brake switch on the pedal. That didn't work
