Was working fine until I stopped at a store and it would not go into Park.
Think it's actually the trans or electrical.
Just wondering where to start.

 

There is no "electrical" for park. Check the shift cable.

OK, what I found was after taking off steering colum cover was that the spring that pushes back the shift lever was broken and wedged at a weird angle in the area where it sits. So it would not let me pull shift lever back quite enough. Removed it and working fine without it.
