Default Brake problem

When I hit my brakes, when I'm almost completely stopped, I get this bad vibration in the brake pedal and the brakes either weaken or pull to the left. Anybody know what this is? It has brand new shoes and rotors.

year, model, 1500, 2500??
new brakes front and rear? rear disc or dums?

if new drums; I bet you bought aftermarket.

If we install aftermarket drums on a chevy p/u; we always machine new drums cause they're junk...typically out 0.007" new

Sounds like the left caliper is sticking. The bolts weren't lubed.

Calipers have been known to lockup. This wouldn't be near the first one to do so.

Alright, its disk brakes all around. I didnt mess with the back ones because naturally the front one wear faster. But the front has new brakes and rotors. The abs light is also on i just noticed.

Did you replace the ABS sensors? Mine did exactly that and it was a bad ABS sensor. Don't buy the real cheap ones because that's what they are, real cheap and don't work right.
