Default Having intermittent issues with heater blowing air

Don't know what exactly is the issue here, can some one please help me out.
I have a 2008 Silverado 2500 Hd. For some reason the heater and ac has a issue all of its own mind. It will not blow any air some times, some air other times. When I start it I can feel the blower working full force for about 3 seconds then none at all. It really blows great while I am waiting for the glow plug light to go off. Any suggestions?

it is the blower regulator should be up underneath the dash on the passenger side right near the blower motor. The regulator is what regulates the fan speeds and they do go out intermittently replaced that your problem will be solved

Heidi Ann,

Private message me with your VIN, I can look to see if you have any open recalls or special coverages in regard to this concern.

I replaced the blower module, now it bows on high, how ever not on the first 3 speeds. The forth is a in and out. Do you think I may need to replace the blower motor also?

I have almost the same issue, ac/heat works on 1,2,3 but shuts off all together on 4 and 5.

I'm having the same problem. I'm in the process of trying to fix it. Your problem could be with the climate control module. When I finally figure this out, I'll post it here:

Default I fixed it!

I had to change the module and the blower, the module gave more power but was still acting up. I changed the blower and everything is as it should be! found a after market on line for the blower 39.99
