I have An 07 silverado Classic...v8 4.8l...regular cab....I Broke My differential.....Can I use A differential And Drive Shaft From a 06 silverado regular cab...4.6L v-6?? Please Help Me find out??

not sure bout the driveshaft. I would assume if the transmission is the same than yes. For the rear-end, If you have a 2wd, then yes. if the gears are different, between the 2 rear axles, you'll have to reprogram your computer.

Default Update....Please Read

Okay The Broken differencial Is the 07 Silverado regular cab v-8 4.8L automatic....My buddy has parts from a 06 Silverado regular cab..v-6 4.6L 5 speed....Would the Differencials and driveshafts be interchangeable??? please help

Look in the glove boxes at the ROP codes for the rears. Should be "gt5"(410s),"gt4"(373s) etc.

What the hell is a "regular cab"? Do you mean 2WD? Or 1500 or what?

Bear in mind, if it's a 4WD, the front diff and the rear diff ratios MUST be the same.

a regular cab is a non extended and non crewcab truck that can either be a 6' or 8' bed
