Hi, I have a 2003 Chevy silverado extended cab, it has the 4.8 liter motor. I've had a problem with it lately, it starts perfectly 9/10 times, but when I try to start it every 10th time, it will turn over and start but right as the rpm's go down and it starts to idle, it dies. It doesn't sputter or anything it just dies instantly. I have to turn the key and have it do this three times, and every fourth time I turn the key it starts strongly like normal. It has had the fuel filter replaced a couple of times, I was thinking possibly a fuel pump? I'm not sure if anyone has an idea of what is going on, or has had a similar problem, I could use some help, thanks!!!
