Default windsheild wipers to far up on my windshield

i recentley put a new wiper motor on my 01 chevy silverado truck and now my wipers sit half way up my window... how do i get the wipers to go back tot he correct place, thanks

Pull off the wiper arms and reposition them farther down on the windshield.

i have already did that as soon as i put the wipers back down they stay there ubtil i turn the key over and they shhoot back up on my windshield

I'd exchange the wiper motor and see what happens.

I believe you have to "zero" out the new motor, but I could be wrong. I think there is a pot on the motor that you turn to align it to the "home" position

all there is are tow screws that hold the wipers down

Remove the wiper arms, turn the wiper motor on then off (to make sure it is parked) install the arms in the correct parked position.

i unplugged the motor and put the arms back at the home position and i when i turned the wipers on they came back down and hit the bottom of the windshield idk wat else to do lol

Do not unplug the motor. You do not have to touch the motor. Follow the directions above.

i did that and now they go up and come back down and hit the bottom and got about 6 inches up my windhield and stay there
