1999 suburban no run
I was working on brakes on my suburban, this involved starting engine normally several times. All of a sudden it wouldn't start. Try to start and get a very short sputter. It will start and run on starter fluid shot until the starter fluid is gone. I have replaced the fuel filter - just in case! Hooked up pressure gage and get 60psi in seconds, it bleeds down to 40 psi in about an hour-looks normal to me. Can the fuel pressure regulator cause my problem or is there a way to test! The regulator on my model seems to be mounted to the bottom of the intake manifold, I don't want to go that route unless I'm sure. Any help is appreciated.
