Default 1999 Tahoe Passenger front Tire abnormal wear

Can anyone shed some light on why only the passenger side, front, outer edge of the tire wears. I have had the alignment done twice by two different reputable shops and it still continues. There must be something missing, maybe Chevrolet has a bulletin on the correct tolerance the shop does not know about. PLease help

You need to find a guy that understands alignments and the angles completely. That guy could set the alignment to correct the problem. Everybody that does alignments can set them to the specs (make it all green). Someone who is really good can use new specs to fix the problem.

I don't do alignments but you're right. My Tahoe was wearing both front tires on the front as you described. Most people just barely fall into the green when aligning the cars and when you take it back to them and show that there definitely is a problem, they say it's up to standard...

I had two different shops, one a dealer and the other a Firestone shop, tell me that it is a problem w/ 4WD. I might agree somewhat if it's auto 4WD drive but not w/ selectable 4WD.
