2007 tahoe ac not working
hey guys, i just bought a 2007 tahoe, when i try to turn on the ac the light blinks 3 times and goes off and all that blows out is hot air. i am in belize central america, there are no gm dealerships here so i ended up taking it to an electrician, he bridged the ac fuse in the fuse box to another fuse and the compressor kicked, so its seems that mechanically all parts are functioning properly. i was thinking about removing the negative cable to see if it would maybe reset the computer but im not sure if i would then need to enter a code for the radio if i do this. i have no info about this truck and wouldnt want to have both the ac and radio not working. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to the Chevrolet Forum. You won't have to enter a code for the radio if you remove negative cable. Leave it off for at least ten minutes.
Do you have access to any auto parts stores? They might be able to scan for any codes that are pending.
