I have been reading the posts about NAV installs as I am about to proceed with this as well. Personally, I think it is amazing what you need to go thru to get the radios to perform properly. Since so many guys out there (not dealers) can program the radios to work, what the heck is the purpose of theft lock. Its not that these are THAT simple to just bolt in... I will imagine is must be a simple program code to lock it up so they ( GM) do just for fun

I just want something OEM Nav that will work in my 2010 Silverado 1500LT crew cab. Doesn't have the RPO uul on the tag in the glove box, nor Bose!
Quite frustrating....I realize it"s not just plain simple but does it have to be this darn aggravating?
