Default 2009 Tahoe LTZ Rims

I have seen some 2009 LTZs with the 08 LTZ rims, and some with what looks like a newer version.

Does the 09 have new rims?

or are they an option?

the white one looks like the newer ones...

thanks!

The second wheel is a chrome option for the LTZ this year.

Default ok

ok, thanks, now get it, I thought maybe they changed them, but some early 09s got the 08 rims.

I prefer the chrome, but its not a deal breaker...

Auto show in Harrisburg, PA this WEDNESDAY - SUNDAY

I'll be going over the 09 w/a fine tooth comb

Keep in mind those are chrome "clad" wheels not chrome plated. Meaning there is just a chrome plastic covering over the wheel itself.

I believe the wheel made of aluminum or magnesium metal, is chrome plated but the center cap which often times is plastic, is chrome clad.
Thou I wouldn’t put it past a technical writer writing the description of the wheels in a pamphlet using the two words plated /clad interchangeably.
Both plated /clad can peel off the substrate or underlying material, thou a base of plastic which is more subject to expanding and shrinking is more likely to do so then a metal base.

Like the way that answered absolutely nothing related to the question….

ok, so it is 'chrome' then... I was at the Harrisburg, PA auto show last night going over the 09 Tahoe's with a fine tooth comb... and I do like these rims... (the chromey ones)

it also looked like the 09s have less buttons between the 2 12v lighter things; did they remove a button or move it somewhere else?

I don't like how small the buttons are for the cooled / heated seats; but I guess its ok, I love everything else about this truck (well, not the 'non-flat' cargo area, but I guess I will live w/that too, I will search the forum for the guy who made a custom flat one.

I seriously have 0 use for the 3rd row... I sat back there; I could fit; but after 1-1.5 hrs I think I'd get a little ticked... the 2nd row was nice;

But, I only use the front 2 seats... anyone know what the 3rd row sells for? Black out of a LTZ... or I guess I Could pull them and toss them in the attic...
