Tahoe & SuburbanThe power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.
Here me out......
2013 Suburban LTZ that I have owned for pretty much all of its life. Never any funny electrical issues to this point.
Situation:
Get in and close door to start, put key in ignition and turn the key. There is zero power. It's as if there is no battery connected in the car. Confirmed battery is good and charged up.
I've pulled codes (B2555-01: see image below) and gone down the rabbit hole of other threads and reddit posts about changing out all the overhead bulbs.
To test I pulled all headliner lights and drove for a week with no issues so assumed the bulb fix was it.
Ordered all new bulbs and replaced and drove for another week or two. Now today, I have the same issue of totally electrically dead car.
Now the odd "Gremlin":
Im in the car and dead as described.
If I reach over to the passenger seat controls and move the seat controls around in different directions, there is magically power to move the seat. Power nowhere else. Driver seat dead.
Only when I move the passenger seat around then try and turn the key to start the car, it powers and starts right up. I have been able to recreate a few times.
Am I dealing with some odd short in the passenger seat controls potentially?
Has anyone seen anything like this before?
Would appreciate any insight or thoughts/suggestions on how to diagnose/fix before i just start pulling things apart.
