Default 2013 Suburban Water Leak

Hi all,

Tracking down some water leaks in the Suburban... I've had it a couple years now but never checked under the rubber floormats until recently and found it was soaked underneath, both driver and passenger side. The foam stuff in the kickpanel areas was sopping wet, as was the insulation under the carpet; water was also pooling in the channels under the sill plate on both front doors. I've done some searching online from similar Silverado/Tahoe/Suburban posts but nothing seems to match exactly what I am seeing.

So I tore out the front seats, moved some stuff around and did some testing with the hose and here is what I found:
  • Does not appear to be coming from above. I dropped the headliner a bit, and the sunroof drains and the shark fin antenna seems totally dry with me blasting the hose on top of the car.
  • The windshield may not be factory (can't find a GM logo on it), but don't see any water intrusion along the A pillars or around the corners of the windshield. I thought it might have been this at first but additional testing has made me think this is less likely.
  • Both rubber door seals don't seem to be in the best condition, but water does not seem to be coming in from here. Might just replace these anyway.
  • Nothing back of the front seat footwell area is wet, so it is not coming from like the B-pillar/back seat area and flowing forward.
The smoking gun (maybe) came when I peeled back the foam from the kickpanel area and did some more hose testing. The below two pictures show some water intrusion around the seam/seals that run along the edge of the kickpanels on both sides.

Driver's side front near e-brake cable/hood pull, water seems to be coming from this corner very quickly when running hose along driver's side of windshield/front cowl area.

Passenger side front near door, water seems to be coming from this spot, but may also be coming from like an inch above this where the inside seal seems cracked and just running down. Water also starts coming in quickly when I aim the hose right at the passenger side windshield/cowl area.

So I am planning to maybe just goop a bunch of urethane/some other sealant in these areas to see if that stops the leaks, but worried it will just push the leak somewhere else and not really fix the root cause. I did not pull back the wheel liners yet but I did pull off the plastic cowl on the hood and can't really see anything through the cracks. Is it possible there is something loose/clogged behind the fenders, etc that could be redirecting water to these areas, or does it just seem like these inside seals need to be touched up? It seems like water should definitely not be coming here so I assume I should patch these areas anyway, but I was just wondering if anyone has seen/heard about something like this before.

Thanks in advance!
