I removed the cross members on the roof rack from new but now want to use them and can't remember which way faced front. On the side piece their is a solid side and a side with a slot for a strap. Can anyone help me out.

 

I'm not looking at mine right now but it seems to me that logic would put the hook loop at the back side...Ill check when I get home on my 07

 

I took mine off as well, long ago, made washing the roof easier...
