2021 Tahoe - Need to find a switched fuse to use for a Dashcam
Body control module controls those lights. Shop manual with wiring diagrams is a must have when you are hacking into the system. It's too easy to blow up expensive parts. alldatadiy.com is what I use for my fleet.
Aw man...I totally cave manned some stuff to achieve a switched 12v power plug inside my old Suburban. ***because non of them are switched!!!***
(1) I found the fuse that runs to the power outlets (unswitched).
(2) Then I found a switched fuze to tap into.
(3) Broke one of the tangs off of the fuze running to the power outlets. (on the supply side)
(4) Ran a jumper wire from a switched fuze to the one tang left on my fuze for outlets
Viola...my 12v outlet plugs are now switched on and off with ignition swich...(I may have caused other electrical problems)

I used this fuse with a fuse tap for a rear entertainment system , works great as in comes on with the car and goes off with the car BUT I also lose power when I open the driver door or rear driver side door, any thoughts??
I used F26 USB/SEO RAP but it switches off & on when the car comes out of autostart on a 2021 suburban. It reboots the camera so interrupts recording at traffic lights. I don't want to disable autostart. Has anyone found a better fuse for a switched circuit?
