How would you describe the Stealthbox performance? I'm a bit concerned about rattles. Did you do apply any sound deadening material?

I'm not looking to set off car alarms. I just want a bit of clean bass. The stealthbox should do it right?

I'm trying to find a local place that will do something similar to your rear sub setup. How much should I expect to spend to do something like that?

Thanks!!!!

The stealthbox does a good job...it doesn't go loooowwww (low enough with regular source material) but it really helps with the midbass. We applied sound deadening material to the center console to help with the rattles. Ok so far...

The rear sub cost for construction was $300 (NOT including price of sub).

That is one good looking suburban you got!

What dash kit did you use? I just had my Z120 installed with a Scosche kit and I'm a bit disappointed because the top portion was slightly sticking out. Tech says Metra should fit better.

Thanks for the update!!!

First, it looks teriffic! Second, you are a sick person! Third, with what did they paint the interior parts. Base/Clear Satin/Gloss or what? The finish looks superb. Fine job!

JRacer...it is a gloss black with clear. Thanks for the compliments...next on the agenda:

1. Redoing the interior in alcantara with deviated stitching...the door panels, headliner, a/b/c pillars, and center console.

2. I'm talking with the shop about installing a beer/soda chiller/humidor between the second row of captains chairs...the space between the seats will determine if it is doable.

PS...I just got the Lloyd mats for the Suburban...they look great.
