High Pitch Noise~
Hey ya'll.
I have a 1999 Tahoe LT 4-door 4x4 with a 3" body lift and it has 33/12.50 Tires. In the past month or so it has a really loud high pitch sound coming from the front driver's side wheel area and when I'm slowing down it goes into a low-pitch long sqeak. The squeak only occurs when the wheel rotates past a certain point then it goes quiet, then it squeaks again. There's absolutely no wobble or 'shimmy' in the steering wheel and I replaced my brake pads last week.
The fluids are all spot on and I replaced my idler arm, pittman arm, and the ball joints within the past month.
My mechanics have taken a look at it and they are completely perplexed as to what to do. They suggested that the brake rotor may be warped and that I should go get it 'trued'. Before I try that I though I should seek some advice from fellow owners to see if anyone else has found this problem and successfully fixed it.
Thanks in advance to any help ya'll provide.

RE: High Pitch Noise~
Welcome to the Tahoe forum. A warped rotor will usually cause a pulsing in the brake pedal which is most noticeable right before you come to a complete stop.

RE: High Pitch Noise~
Thanks for the info.
I forgot to mention that it has been lifted for a little over three years and has just recently started making this noise. The tires and rims have been on the truck for a few years so I don't know what's goin on.
I'll check what ya'll advised. If anyone has anything else please share.
