Question intermittent power interruptions

Hi all, hoping that this group might be able to give me some advice before I take the car to the dealer. 2016 Chevy Suburban LT with a 5.3L. Only known issue was that I replaced the started about a year ago when it was intermittently not able to start.

We have the rear seat entertainment system, and a few times over the years, while the kids are watching a movie, the system would basically reset everything--the entire entertainment system would reset over 1-2 seconds. It would say there was a disc error but then play again after a little while. I didn't think much of it, and actually figured it had something to do with a bad disc or something, as it was only intermittent.

On two occasions when the entertainment system was acting up, I also noticed some issues with my lights. When I pulled into my garage, I noticed my headlights *very briefly* dimming. Nothing that I would have noticed on the road--only because I was in the garage where it was dark. It was similar to a flicker, but they didn't lose total power, just dim for less than a second.

Those two issues, I could live with. But now over the last month, two other things have happened which have me wanting/needing to investigate further. First, my FIL told me that he was on the highway using cruise control, and the car seemed to accelerate without him doing anything. It stopped as soon as he pressed the break, but was a very odd occurrence and I'm glad he was paying attention. He didn't notice anything else happening. Lastly, there have been two instances where I have shifted from drive to park and back to drive (getting in a parking space, entering my garage) where the entertainment system seems to die for a second (goes completely black), and I can't turn the steering wheel. The engine doesn't stop, but all lights reset and I'm not able to turn the wheel for a moment until it comes back. Again, this lasts only 2-3 seconds and then it acts fine.

The only thing that I have noticed in all of these instances is that they all occurred as parts of long trips---1-2 hours in length. None of the above have ever happened while driving around town, for example (at least that I've noticed). Brought it to a local shop and they couldn't find anything on a first pass. Thinking I might have to take it to the dealer, but wondering if anyone has any thoughts on where I might ask them to look first? I'm not sure if these problems are independent or some way tied together. Replaced the battery about a year ago and it just tested fine (did this when I got the starter replaced--they originally told me the battery was testing poorly, but then after I put the new battery in, the problem happened again and they realized it was actually the starter). At that time, I also got the alternator tested, and it was fine.

Thanks all for taking a look, and I appreciate any suggestions.

Have your alternator tested again, and check for loose cables and grounds under the hood.
