Default Mystery

Hello people, I am new here just had a question for all: I have a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban my wife was driving the truck and said when she came to a red light she stop then when the light green the truck would not go, she said she pressed the pedal several time's then the truck would go slow. This happen intermittenly, then it would drive perfect. It seemes to happen once every 2week or not all at times any help would be nice thanks.

Welcome to the forum,
Check the transmission fluid level if the engine does accelerate when the pedal is pressed.
Or is it that the engine does not respond to the accelerator ?

Sorry about that, and yes she said the Rpms do go up but the truck dont move
She told when that she pressed the
Pedal 3-4 times the the truck did not move. Then like the 5th time
It started to move slow then it drives fine. The only thing that I
Recently done was add fuel injector cleaner thinking that was the problem I tried to memick the problem
But I could not get it to do it for me yet.

As posted, check transmission fluid level. This sounds like torque convertor low level fluid, or just a worn out tranny.
