Default Need pics or info on 2007-2013 Suburban spare tire carrier

Didn't have a spare or the carrier when I bought my 2013 Suburban. I believe that all the 2007-2013 ones are the same.
I was wondering what the carrier looks like when installed in case I need anything else besides the carrier.
I have the plastic tube and the key cylinder lock.

Don't know whats up with that bolt cut up the center..

Try your local junk yards. U pick yards are even better so you can see it actually installed.

I do not have any yards near me. I was going to order one off eBay. Just want to make sure I get everything I need.

From looking on eBay it seems there are two different types that are completely different.
I need to find out which one I need.
Not too sure if the 2500 Suburban is different. Wouldn't think so. I have a 2013 2500 Suburban.

Possibility would be to go to a Chevy or GMC dealer and get their parts guy to look up the illustration for you.

I have a 2003 Suburban and I replaced mine. Very simple job. Here is a link to a YouTube video that I hope helps. I ordered my part from RockAuto, very reasonable price and it came quick.

How to Replace Spare Tire Hoist 07-14 Chevy Suburban 1500

If the bolt for yours is missing. like mine, I replaced it with a 10mm x 1.5 pitch x 20mm long. I also spent sometime cleaning up the old rust, sprayed with rust inhibotor spray and than undercoated it.

Hope this helps!

Chris...
