Default NO Drone

Has anyone out there got the corsa cat back exhaust on thier 07 hoe? I really want to install an exhaustsystem but I kinda want some feed back on what everybody likes or dislikes about thier current set up.I wanta system that doesn't drone at cruising speeds wether I'm in cylinder deactivation mode or not. Corsa claims no drone but the almost $ 900.00 price tag is a little tuff to swallow when the magnaflow system is less than half as much.I'm looking for something a little more aggressive than stock but not to loud. What do you guy's think?

I cant stand drone myself, no matter how cool the exhaust sounds.

There was thread recently about the magnaflow cat back system. I cant remeber if there was complaints about drone or not, but do a search and it should pop up.

I have the Magnaflow exhaust.... I do not notice any drone. My advice to you is to not buy the pre-fab exhaust from the factory, but just have the performance shop bend the pipes to fit and weld the magnaflow muffler on.... same result as the ones from the factory, yet $100s less.... I have done it that way on my last 5 vehicals and I have never had a complaint about the workmanship of the shop or the magnaflow product.

I'm not sure how much for muffler, tip and welding but, you can get the complete catback for 389 plus shipping. I would go for the catback if you can afford it. Much cleaner look.

In a previous discussion, the Magnaflow P/N was 12259. Check their website.

FYI: You can get two catback systems from GM, performance and touring.

Corsa also offers a performance and a touring exhaust(over $800), but GM's catback is cheaper(around $600. I wonder if they are the same exhaust and if so why is the GM catback so much cheaper?
