Default Updated link to GM Service Bulletin 09239

The NHTSA link I initially posted no longer works. It had the full 80-something pages--customer letter, instructions to dealers, and the shop manual pages. This new link has the letter to customers only, but that should be enough to print out and take in to the dealer:

http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/acms/cs...33533-5986.pdf

Be advised that not all GM Customer Service District Specialists are aware that their own company has agreed to cover this. You may have to enlighten them. I ran into that little problem myself, just today.

This is a pdf file and will take a moment to download and open. http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/acms/do...004-41791P.pdf
My service writer told me that GM expanded the service bulletin but I didn't find it at NHTSA.

This one works. It took my computer 40 seconds to down load it but it's complete, letter pictures and all. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...RrDjhLDxIZ_mEA
