Guys I can feel your pain. I have had my LTZ since May of 2006 and have had issues with my Service Stabilitrac and Service Traction Control warning lights and messages from the very first day I drove it off the lot. No...That's NOT just a figure of speech but what actually happened while driving my new LTZ home from the dealership.

Have had all kinds of adjustments made, computer modules replaced...And most recently a wheel speed sensor replaced. Have had a total of 9 occurances and it's been in the shop 7 different times for this same problem.

I'm currentlynegotiating with GM in trying to obtain a replacement vehicle without having to go through all the headaches of arbitration and exercising my rights under the State of Florida's Lemon Law program. I currently have all the paperwork filed and am willing to do it if I need too...However, I honestly believe that GM is trying to work with me in regards to my issues.

I LOVE my LTZ and do want another one to replace this particular vehicle. Hopefully I'll have some resolution to my issues within the next few weeks...Or at least that's what I'm being told from the rep I'm working with at GM.

We'll see...........................

 

Rockin LTZ, please keep us udated on your situation. That is just ridiculous that they haven't resolved the issue. I'm feel the same way you do, I love my Tahoe, but wish the problems went away. Good luck with everything.

UPDATE: Well they found one issue I wasnt even aware of, my crank sensor is bad. I think it has been flaky ever since I've had the truck, alot of the times when I would remote start it wouldnt start. But they want to correct that problem first and then tackle my stabilitrak light and radio power issues. Will update soon...

 

After having the Tahoe in the shop 10 days in the past three weeks, there is still no answers to why the service stabilitrac light and check engine lights are coming on. Ive been in contact with Chevy Customer Care and we are waiting for some response and a possible out come from another service department on Monday. This time in makes 7 since December 7th.

 

I know its frustrating as you know what...but hang in there.

 

Well as of today I am being told by my servicing dealer and GM customer relations that my Stabilitrac light and Check Engine light has no repairs, and it will continue to cycle on and off with no repairs. They told me its an E85 fuel issue which I do not run. After some bitching to GM they forwarded the case off to a District Manager, so I guess we will wait and see.

 

I think I smell a brand new Tahoe, possibly for you in the near future! I'm sorry to hear about all the drama with your Tahoe.
