Default Suburban/Tahoe Upgrades

Just purchased a 2007 LTZ and having some maintenance that was deferred by the previous owner done. I'll have it back soon and am surfing for ideas I can use to customize my rig.

I've been reading about Burbs and Hoes on the forum and found a tidbit here and there on possible upgrades, but wanted to hear from all of you about little things or big things you did to make your Suburban or Tahoe uniquely yours. So whether it is engine, suspension, lighting, preventative maintenance, comfort or whatever, please share your efforts and sources for parts or
knowledge.

I have done HID's to mine, bug deflector, window weather guards, mud flaps, and I had my Bow Ties painted green. I also have 2 big aluminum dog pas on my tail gate. I also changed out my stock tires for some BFG Rugged Terrains. (I LOVE these tires.) I will be making my interior & puddle lights LED.

First thing i did was level mine by adjusting the torsion bars( 2500 only ) Added a Go-Rhino Grille guard and the Edge CS Tuner. changed my rims to the KMC Enduros with
Goodyear Silent Armor Progrades. Only issue, Looks too much like an unmarked
Cop vehicle.

Completely debadged and leveled, hawk brakes, steel brake lines, PIAA low and high bulbs, weather tech mats for all floors, black bow ties front and rear and deep window tint all around except ws.

Will do Kmd's, heated steering wheel and brushed aluminum in place of the plastic wood grain this yr. and probably blistien 5100 on the corners.

Love the idea of painting the calipers- and like the idea of replacing the disks with slotted and drilled rotors and ceramic pads, too. Moving most of my lighting on my bmw to LED's and so far like the look and plan to apply it the Burb. A bug deflector is a summer must in my part of the country and I'll find a contrasting bow tie color and apply it. The grill guard might be a winner for running through sage brush ditches and turning around in standing corn while hunting in North Dakota.

Just replaced the autoride shocks in the rear with Blistien's- great shocks!

Funny thing about "bug" deflectors. I've seen a lot of them and while they keep the bugs from the leading edge of the hood, they didn't seem to keep bugs off the W/S.
