Hi: I own a 1998 Chevy Tahoe 350/4 wheel dr /4 door.I am having an issue with front brakes warping the rotors.I have replaced the front brakes every year for the last 3 years not even 5000- 8000 miles each time.Pads are good and calipers free.Napa auto parts sold me the first time composit rotors and pads,6 months later I purchased steel rotors and better grade of pads.My last time in 2008 I purchased from Napa performance vented rotors rotors used on police cars and pads to match so hard when stopping sound metal to metal and then it quited down after use.I now have the same problem and before I purchase anything I want to know why?I was told by a friend he had similar issue and purchased loaded calipers and rotors from chevrolet is this my cure? Rear brakes have not been adjusted properly causing the front to do all the work would be my guess.

 

Also be sure you break the new pads in properly.

 

that would be my guess is that the back drums are not working properly. did not have the same problem but when I went to replace the back drums on my 2000> nothing worked inside of them!
