Tracker1989-2004
This compact SUV proved itself to be a fine ecnomical vehicle, good for making its way along any type of surface. Platform: CAMI (Suzuki)
Tried looking everywhere else. Wife has a 2001 Tracker, V6 w/ 4wd. The A44DE transmission lines fittings, are leaking past the spacer/washers, Part #96068418, and am unable to find any info on them anywhere. The factory fittings are Banjo type. Both front and rear and constantly dripping and coated the floor, right by the exhaust. Needless to say, that aint good. Am located outside Savannah,GA. Anybody know a better part number and/or where to locate a replacement set? Thanks in advance
Unfortunately, that's way off sizewize. Ones you listed are 14mmx20mmx1.5. Like 100% too large. According to chevy site, the bolt/screw size is 1.4mm, the i.d. for washer is 1.5mm, and thickness is 0.2mm.
I'm confident the Chevy data you have is wrong. Here is easy way to prove it. Use an adjustable wrench as a poor man's caliper. Set the wrench opening to match the OD of the washer. Remove the wrench and measure the gap. I'm sure you will see that it is 20mm. The ID should be 14mm which is the same as 1.4cm.
These are the copper washers for the power steering banjo bolts. They are good sized washers.
Will check when she gets home in morning. The power steering bolts are the same as the transmission lines? If so, might be able to get those and swap out on the tran lines. Thanks
No! The power steering banjo bolts are not the same size as the transmission bolts. I just had picture of the P/S bolts to indicate their relative size. Do not remove the P/S bolts. Just get the correct copper gaskets from Amazon.
Ok. Wasn't going to take p/s bolts off, was going to track down a new set and see if those would work. Know better to cannabilize working part and permanent mod it and not work and now have 2 problems. will check out tomorrow, if necessary, take old one off and use calipers on it.
I would just buy the correct size (14x20x1.5) copper washer from Amazon. If that is not an option these aluminum washers from RockAuto are also 14x20x1.5
