06 trailblazer died twice
Need help!! Just bought, 3 weeks ago, 06 Blazer with 35K. yesterday while out with the family it died, stopped completed but still rolled, in the middle of the road. All warning lights came on, engine died. Able to coast to parking lot, open the hood, look at like a pro. Scratched head and butt, waited, then it started again. Check engine light stayed on then went off. Still under manufactuer warranty so I'm taking it in Monday. Any clues!!
EuroGold,
Being the moderator, you've never heard of something like this?? I've never owned a Chevy, except back in the day when Ihad my 69 Malibu. Those were the days cause when it died, you didn't need a diagnostic interpretation of the computerchip. you checked the battery, spark and then went from there.

EG,
Looks like the dealer replaced the PCM, Power Control Module. They said it was stuck in the "read' mode which for a chip is bad. Being an electronics techincian in the AF helped me to understand the language a bit but basically a computer lock up. Comes with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty so we'll see if it works.
