traction control service light on 06
hi i tried cleaning out but it looks clean inside the module the pin connector have a little dirt so i just tried blowing it air buts that all
I have had this problem in the past and I chased error codes from the steer position sensor to antilock brake sensors and back to position sensor etc etc etc. For lack of a better name, the anti lock brake/traction control power box is under your vehicle just about under your drivers seat. Open it up and clean it out. It gets filled with road dirt and such and shorts things out making you think you have error codes. Don't waste any more money until you clean that box.
Hi i have both same codes how do you fix it?
My '06 Trailblazer which I just bought about a month ago, has the same problem. Took it to where I bought it. They check it for codes and found an inactive code #C0455 & C0244. Most likely cause is EBCM. They want me to bring it in, next time the light comes on, and they said they will replace the EBCM, at their expense.
