Hello,
Have a 2008 Uplander that the TCS and ABS lights come on whenever I turn the steering wheel rightward past centered (straight ahead). Doesn't happen on a left turn, or on a right turn until the wheels are pointing slightly right of center. I had the right wheel sensor replaced at a shop that's been trustworthy in the past, and that did not fix the problem. I inspected the connection at that wheel and everything looks OK; even took a small rat-tail file to the contacts and again, no change.
I was able to obtain the following codes on my OBDII scanner that seem relevant to the issue: C0041, RF wheel sensor circuit range/performance, C0040 RF wheel speed sensor circuit malfunction, and C0253, Centering fault. Are any of these relevant, and if so, where should I start looking for issues? Finally, might this be a steering wheel position sensor problem? Any helpful advice would be great.
