May 16 started out being a terrible day for my roommate. I was determined to make it better for him and I was going to do it behind the wheel of a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ. What he and I will always remember as “Dan Day” had begun.
It really isn’t odd for someone to own more than one ride. Sometimes this is because one is the toy and the other is the daily driver, and other times it is simply because, well, who wouldn’t want to own two or more glorious rigs?
It would be difficult to not have an appreciation for the Chevy Suburban. Not only have they been around forever, but they are also highly respected rigs that are good at a multitude of different things, even all at once.
If you’re anything like me, when you think of an institution, you picture a building that’s been standing for decades. You don’t usually imagine a vehicle. Since 1908, General Motors has produced both kinds of institutions – the Arlington Assembly Plant and the Chevrolet Suburban, in particular.
