Default Starting issues

So I have a 2001 chevrolet silverado 2500hd with a 6.0 vortec. I was having starting issues and replaced the battery. Then in continued having issues so I replaced the starter and it was starting fine every time. A week later I helped someone with a v6 chevrolet Malibu with a jump start and since then my starting issues have returned. I have 12 volts at the battery and 12 volts to the starter. So I'm trying to figure out why my truck will only start with a jump start. If any insight I would greatly appreciate it

Welcome from Florida. Check both of your battery cables at both ends for tight connections with no corrosion. This is a good starting point.

I forgot to mention that I am getting 12 volts to my starter and also I replaced the positive battery cable also just to try and fix any what if scenarios.

Have your battery load tested. There could be a bad cell in it.

Also, have your alternator tested - it might not be putting out enough current to keep the battery's charge maintained.

And, I also wanted to mention that there is a difference in voltage and voltage with load. You shouldn’t trust a reading of voltage when there is no draw, if you can avoid it. I have seen, many times, a voltage number read something when it is not energized to fill draw, then a deep and debilitating failure of voltage once current needs go up. In other words, be sure to consider what might be going wrong under the insulation of those cables too! They might be hiding corrosion!
