Default coolant drips

I have a 2014 chevy cruze. THe local garage overfilled my coolant and it got all over engine. Most of it we have gotten off but I am still getting a few drips. The car was at the garage yesterday and checked for leaks and complete checkover. Found nothing. When I returned home there were few drops after driving. It is getting much less but I am getting disguisted. This car has 130000 miles and has had a complete overhaul with many parts. Is he missing something/??

ty

We wiped off alot of coolant off the engine. Nothing wrong when driving car................................and just some of this leakage since this coolant was added.

Welcome to Chevy. Did the shop coolant change, or did they find your coolant was low and added some? If it was low it must be going somewhere.

Since a lot of work was done, it is always a good idea to check the coolant level every few days to insure there is no change.

If you notice something has changed , let the shop know so it can be checked out before any damage can takes place.

When a lot of parts get replaced, there is always the chance something could get overlooked and your attentiveness could catch it before it causes problems up the road.

It's probably just residual coolant trapped in some pockets and valleys. No biggy. Give it a few days to dry off.

thank you for the welcome. I just asked him to put some coolant in while I was there and he over filled it he said and it went all over the engine. No the level was okay. He just topped it too much.

I stopped to get air in tires etc, check oil and asked him to check coolant.

That is what we are thinking. He completely checked the car that day when I was there and found no leaks, no car issues. this all happened after he added the coolant and it spilled all over the engine.

I ran the car all day today. No spots under car but as you say some trapped in pockets and valleys.
