Default Engine cuts off only when turning right !

2014 1.8, 100K, Engine cuts off when making moving turn to right only. Does not do it if right turn after stop. Cuts off 50% of the time.

Service airbag and service theft deterrent system displayed. Will normally restart and the messages go away.

Started doing this right after replacing battery (old one died) and battery fuse block (broke the feed fuse for the starter on removal).

No new codes, have old codes P2090, P0420, and P0014. Have Not addressed them as car running good with good gas mileage.

Cleaned all the connectors and grounds I could find from topside, With it running, wiggled all the wiring I could reach from topside , especially around battery, no effect.

Multiple problems in the past resulting in replacement of timing belt, water pump, serp belt, valve cover, evap cannister solenoid, cam position sensors, VVT solenoids, coil pack + plugs, thermostat temp sensor, Used all quality parts,

If your vehicle idles roughly, stalls frequently, has a drop in engine power, accelerates slowly, has reduced gas mileage, or , these are all signs your camshaft position sensor could be failing.
If your car's check engine light is on, get that code read in case it's a P0420. check the exhaust temperature before the cat and right after.

No drop in power or mileage, no rough running. Have crankshaft position sensor and IR thermometer on order.

Have it up on ramps and will start checking wiring from the bottom. Also see if there is anything going on in or near the front wheel wells. At this point, I'm leaning towards a wiring problem.

Thanks for the reply! ED

Checked connectors from underneath. No wiring in the area of the wheelwells or where the moving parts of the steering are.

Took it to where I could drive it in circles. Doesn't do it in reverse going either way. HOWEVER when circling forward to the right, the door locks will unlock and lock a couple of times as you go around.

Does the BCM control the locks, the security system, AND the airbags?

I believe if a problem develops with the security system while moving, you get a flashing security light and the car keeps running?

ED

Also, i thought that the car wouldn't start if the lock light was on solid but this does.

I might try resetting all the modules by disconnecting the battery and shorting the terminals together, Worked for the Ford, will it work on this? Any negative effects?

Also the car should not start if the SEC light is on solid (this does restart and no flashing light prior to or during cut-off)?

Rainey and windy today so didn't work on it. At this point, I just want to put some bullet holes in it for stress relief!

Back at it ! Fuel press 60lb. pulled the BCM + ECM fuses and cleaned. Pulled the BCM cover off, moved the wiring around some, its in there pretty good.

This started right after I replaced the battery and the BATT fuse bloc. replaced the new BATT positive cable with the old one and recleaned all the related parts.
Left BATT disconnected for a couple of hours and then shorted the + and - cables with a multimeter on amps. Read 40 microamps initially, down to .5 after an hour.

Connected everything back up and went for a test drive. Should have cut off 8 to 10 times but NOT ONCE !!!

We'll see if this lasts.......

NOT QUITE! Now when moving right turn, locks cycle once, and engine sputters lightly for 1/2 second but doesn't cut off. Does this about half the time.

Are there any motion sensors or accelerometers in this car??

What if you started right at the beginning ?
Could something inside the steering column be causing the power to be disconnected? Like the key switch and or wiring inside there?
