Default AC/Heat control problems

I have been having a couple of problems with my AC/HEAT control module. My Fan setting for 1, and 2 do not work and recently my rear defroster doesn't work ether. Does anyone know what I will have to do to fix these problems?

It's not strange at all ... fairly common problem ...the fix for the fan only working on high speed is the voltage divider circuit ( resistor coils ).

For the rear defroster check the fuse first if that's OK then use a multimeter to check for voltage at the back window contacts , also with your multimeter check the filament grid for continuity.

Have you removed your A/C control module and pulled the back cover off your fan speed control switch to see if the contacts are dirty?

Actually MalibuRich, I haven't even looked at it. My AC doesn't work so I haven't used the control since winter for the heat. I have found a How-To on this one a Malibu forum. I will be replacing the resistor sometime this fall. I will check the contact before I purchase a new resistor and see if that is the problem. Thank you.
