Default help guys please!!! 98 Blazer

Hello..my neighbor is selling a 98 Blazer for $500 with a smashed in front end.He says it needs a new front end, radiator, ac condensor, hood. He says he can get everything he needs to fix it for around $500 at a wreck yard. I want to know if in your guyses opinion if its worth it for me to buy and fix up. and from the pictures what do u guys think will cost to replace things from a wreck yard to get it going again. The motor runs and the rest of the blazer is excellent just dirty. let me post some pics for you guys

any input would be appreciated...and the air bags did not deploy

what's up sic....if it were me and there was no visiable frame tweek i would buy it...

cosmetics are cheap and fairly easy to source, will you be doing the repairs yourself?.....buy her and get it back on the road....nothing more satisfying then repairing your own truck, once you complete it you may be able to answer others questions .......

I was thinking it was a steal myself...I will do all the work myself from a salvage yard...So when the guy says it needs a new front end Im assuming just body damage and radiator damage

if i were you i would work the bone yard for the parts you need, radiator support, and whatever else cannot be salvaged from the wreck...those parts should be easy to find as many blazer owners out there..get the parts yourself, junk yards can be pricey @ times dont let them get ya....i once tried to get a used rearend(i was in a rush)from a bone yard and they tried to get me to buy it for 700...i talked them down to 300....and then never went back to buy it....found another for free and rebuilt it myself.....get that blazer going again my friend

well if time permits i would look for the parts myself....buying all the parts @ one yard,at the same time they may be getting more then there worth....but then again it's nice to find everything at one place....are you buying the parts or is he?
