Need help bad, '89 1500
I hate making my second post be begging for help, but I'm in a spot. Got a truck I need on the road but ain't. Here's the background;
Truck was running fine. Let it set two days in the cold (I'm in Indiana), third day she won't start. Not dead battery, just wouldn't start. She acted like she WANTED to fire, but wouldn't. So far, I've put Heat in the tank, cleaned the rotor and distributor, put in new plugs, sprayed ether into the carb (Or ported fuel injection, can't remember what they call 'em), and cussed a lot. Nothing has worked, and now I have gas in the oil, which I kinda marked up to flooding it.
The only thing left I could think of is that she hasn't had a tune-up since I bought her (hangs head in shame), and thought the cold weather may have made the plug wires brittle and the plugs aren't getting enough fire. I know they're getting SOME, but dunno if it's enough.
Any ideas?

First you need to figure out if your truck is missing fuel, spark, or air. Like already mentioned, does it crank for a second when you spray starting fluid into the throttle body? Post up with more info.
Yeah, I was cranking it while a buddy sprayed in the either. She TRIES to start, but just won't. I've also now eliminated ignition module. She's spraying fuel through the jets, getting spark, and air.
She's got almost a complete tune-up, and if she started, I wouldn't be having a problem SilveradoShane. lol

water inj the tank may be the cause, all u have to do is touch the fuel coming up the lines, gasoline makes your hand instantly cold, if water is in there...not so much the quick fix is to drain the tank and put new fuel in along with some methyl hydrate
