Default Need help finding

Just wanted to say I'm the new guy to the forum and so far I've been extremly impressed with all of the communication that goes on here. I've already found many useful pieces of information - Thanks!

I've just bought a preowned 07 Tahoe - LT3 andI just had a couple ofquestions that I was hoping you all could help me with:

1) Has anyone found a use for the "change tray"that's on the passneger side rear panel (3rd row seating area)? I was hoping that maybe someone had developed/ found a cupholderto fit in there. I know this maybe difficult as I've removedthe tray and it appears a cupholder would beobstructed by what ever is under that panel. The "change tray" is GM part # AJB53525. Any ideas?

2) Can anyone help me find the part number and or location where I can get the wood trim cover thatcovers the cupholders in between the front driver and passenger seats? This is the cover that covers the cupholders and introduces an additional compartment. (I think it's standard on the LTZ but not real sure)

Thank you in advance for your feedback!

Welcome to the Tahoe forum. Try doing a search on this forum for the wood trim for the center console on the LTZs as there was considerable discussion of it when it first came out last year.

Re: 3rd row cupholders. Only thing I can suggest there is a 2nd row center console if you have bucket seats. That's what I did. Also give you some sorely needed storage space.

I have the wood grain center console and you don't want it. The change tray is too small to get your fingers in and I have no storage. I am going to the dealer tomorrow to buy the one you have.

(No, you can't trade me. I'm keeping it for resale)

That's good information to have because that change drawer is kindof what turned me towards looking for one. Just not enough storage for all the "stuff". Thanks!

I really like the look of it but sadly it is just not functional. You'll be much happier with the one you have.

Doo, I'll sell you my original black tray and cup holder. Let me know what the dealer is charging and we can work a deal to save you some money.

Yea, I think I'm of the same opinion, I do like the look. Maybe if I can find a wood grain console cheap enough, I may just have to try it out. Worst case, I go back to what I have today. Thanks for your opinions and feedback, much appreciated! With that said, if anyone has a wood trim one they want to get rid of, let me know.
