Default Tow Hitch Not Lining Up

Have an 04 Suburban 1500 2WD.
I have a class 3 hitch supposedly for this model. When I install it, the the bolts on either side on the frame line up great, but the two center bolts on the bumper are off by about 1/2 inch. My trailer is 4500 lbs with a 500lb tongue weight. Can I tow without these two center bolts attached? Do those two bolts make a big difference if I take it easy driving?
Is there a way to line these up?
thanks

Seriously? You mean the two bolts directly above the receiver, where all of the stresses will be concentrated? With a 4500-lb trailer?

You're really going to use something that doesn't fit right, instead of paying $150-$200 for a part made specifically for your truck?

OK, would you just use the bumper ball instead?

I can't believe you are pulling a 2 1/2 ton trailer with a 1/2 ton suburban or wanting to.

So I got a different hitch they fit properly, wouldn't 4500lb be fine since I have a ~7200lb towing capacity?
anyone have experience with a similar setup?

maybe your thinking of bumper pull not hitch pull.

I'm going to try to loosen everything again and see if the bumper slides back enough.
