Default Relearn?

i recently replaced the motor in my 2005 malibu 3.5l. Im not getting any kind of throttle resonce it is dbw (drive By wire ) any ideas i was told i need to set the comp. is there any one that knows the procedure?

yes the engine runs it'll start crank everything but rev up. i can push on the peddle all day and it dosent do a thing. i am getting an error code lost comm. with throttle control or somehting like that i deleted the code but it keeps coming back its like it isnt there at all

You have to be more exact than that. What was the trouble code? Have you tried swapping the throttle body (the whole thing including the TAC module) with the old?

i have replaced the throttle body twice u0107 the onboard comp. aka the radio say reduced engin power the t/c and check engine light are both on

You've replaced the TB with the TAC module attached? With new parts? Hmm, if your scanner can read U-codes, it can probably read out the freeze frame data associated with that U0107. Post 'em.

ill see if i can find the codes again im pretty savy about stuff like this but im stumped i was using a gynises i have ran data stream everything man this thing is crazy the motor i bought has 30k on it i did replace the fuel injectors i i kn ow some cars you have to do press stuff on the radio and the a/c but i dont know about this one any help will be very useful.

I'm sure you're competent but remember I can't read your mind. You've "replaced the throttle body twice" but with what? New, used, remanufactured? How about the TAC module? New, used, remanufactured? Come to think, why did you replace the engine and was it a like-like exchange (same year and model)?

well good news it works had the computer flashed and a little thing caled fuse in the wrong placew oops i will say the car did 35 with now throttle just idleing
