Default No GPS disc inserted ???

My Navigation system has always worked fine. This morning, my map was gone. It asked me to insert the GPS map disc. It's already in there! What happened to it? I know that no one took it out. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum.

Might try cleaning the DVD. I pulled mine out once and it had a nasty film on it.

How do you pull it out? It does not eject on its own when the covers lifts up.

Default Map did

Change coverage or eject map disc. It's behind the screen. Whole thing opens.

After the screen folds down, press "Eject" on the screen.

Curious if you don't know how to eject the DVD, how can you be sure it's in there?

The display is telling me to insert the disc, but I never took it out. It should still be in there. There is nothing that says eject because it is not recognizing that the disc is still in there.

I am having that same problem with my 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ. Did you ever get it out? I can see that my disc is in the unit but it's not being recognized. Really don't want to spend $1400 to replace it.
